Pinch the ends of the tubes to restrain the 1/8 music wire.
How to insert the center five ribs. The front section has to be separated from the part aft of the spar.
Completed installation of the center 5 ribs.
Installing the leading edge sheeting. Sand the 3/8 square leading edges to conform to the ribs. Align the 1/16 sheet with the center of the spar and clamp it to the spar, then apply Tite Bond to the
leading edge and clamp the sheet to the leading edge, insuring that the sheet is drawn tight against the top of the ribs. Use a metal bar to achieve even clamping pressure along the leading edge.
1/16 X 1/8 balsa strips are placed under the back edge of the sheeting and the spar and the cap strips land on it. Glue down the aft edge of the sheeting. Next install the 1/16 X 3/8 balsa cap strips.
Glue all joints with Tite Bond except the front rib to the sheeting, where thick CA is used, allowing you to clamp the sheet against the ribs with your hand as the glue cures.
