Details of the F-86L at the Travis AFB Museum. According to the McDonald book on the
Sabre, this aircraft was originally an F-86D-55. Modification to the L version was done to most F-86D's,
and involved the addition of SAGE electronics, and the slatted 6-3 wing with tip extensions.
