OTHER COUNTY SITES TO VISIT

One of the unique Qualities of Yolo County is that each community retains a flavor of its heritage.

DAVIS: 1914 mission-style railroad depot and the University of California campus. Also the Hattie Weber Museum of Davis and the Davis Explorit Science Center, all open to the public.

WINTERS: Famed orchards, packing sheds and the historic downtown area.

KNIGHTS LANDING: Riverfront Main Street

WOODLAND: The Opera House , the Heidrick Agricultural Antique Farm Equipment and Hays Antique Truck Museum, Yolo Shortline Railroad and many early businesses and residences.

WEST SACRAMENTO: The riverfront and vista to the Old Sacramento complex and the deep water port nearby. Visit the West Sacramento Historical Society web site.

YOLO: Originally Cacheville - Original county seat with courthouse built in the 1850's.
