The Family Violence Prevention Council is a collection of governmental agencies and community resources dedicated to the reduction or elimination of violence between family members.
Our MissionThe purpose of the Yolo County Family Violence Prevention Council is to reduce and prevent the incidence of family violence in Yolo County and to provide support for its victims. Goals To provide a working forum for interaction and information exchange among agencies and service providers dealing with victims and perpetrators of family violence. To identify and analyze the components of existing family violence response services and make recommendations for changes where necessary. To work toward the establishment of a coordinated county-wide response system to family violence incidences.
