A Model 1/72 Rutan Voyager

A typical Amodel kit.  Interesting subject, soft detailed limited run moldings.  I made a vacform pilot's bubble and inserted
clear plastic where the side windows go instead of inserting the kit supplied individual windows.  The clear was sanded to profile,
polished, and masked to get the window shapes and positions all flush with the fiberglass skin as was the original.  Flat white
followed by a clear coat was the painting method used.  I made some bare spinners so I could display the airplane in flight. The landing gear
was rather poor but it just seems wrong to display this airplane on the ground anyway.  The decals were difficult, I think I replaced some with
ones I made with the ALPS MD-1000.  I could have dome more to get a more accurate representation of details but it fills the need for me as it is.
