Tamiya 1/48 scale kit

What a nice kit.  First thing I did was destroy all the detail on the instrument panel so I could put on the Eduard Color Zoom panel.  I studied photos and although the Tamiya detail is
nice, I think they did a lot to make it easier to paint at the expense of accuracy.  The Eduard stuff is more convincing to me.  I also added side panel detail from the Eduard stuff, some
nice placards and seat armor.  Surely the Mk 1's had seat armor during the Battle.  Mine would have!  I have a few resin sets from True Details but all I used in the cockpit was the oxygen
hose, and the pilot's headrest cause I launched the Tamiya part.  I cut out the pilot side door using Fermisthread, worked great.
