Revell 1/144 modified to D-2500 configuration

 

D-2500 had 4 radiators on both wings.  There were oil coolers, or something that looks like them, on each engine, but not the way I have them here.  There
should be seven on each engine, and the outboard ones should be on the wing. They are also much shorter than shown here.  A later photo shows them
that way.  .020 styrene rod made the oil coolers, and the radiators are made from corrugated styrene sheet with a base below.  The landing gear is
interesting to put in place, 3 parts on each side have to go together all at once to keep the proper alignment and to get the tandem wheels all to rest on the ground.
