Vraciu's markings included a snorting bull called Gadget (hope I got it close to the original, decals in other scales (yes, I cheat if I can) and photos
were not too clear) and Felix the Cat toting a bomb, VF-3's squadron marking.  According to Bill Larkins, VF-3's origins were in a dive bombing
role, hence the bomb.  Tamiya Smoke was used for the exhaust staining.  Seat belts were made with Verlinden buckles and a tape
Boeing used for tying down wire bundles.  I think it is a fiberglass weave and I like the color, even if the texture is a bit over scale.
