A few weeks later.  The 150 gallon fuel tank and its mount were modified a bit, a plastic rod was added on the vertical seam as most F6F tanks had either a
vertical or horizontal seam such as this.  The tank strap moldings seemed very clunky, so I filled and sanded the areas of the tank where they fit and
made new straps out of stryene sheet and rod.  The forward centering  struts were also replaced with plastic rod.  

The inner wheels were also modified, adding a plastic disk painted steel here to replicate the brake disc.  Hasegawa made the wheel basically like the
spoked outer half.
