Airfix 1/72 C-47A

Airfix did a nice job on the aerials.  There were many different configurations of aerials on the C-47 types.  The ones under the cockpit side windows were for the
Eureka receivers which were used to home in on Rebecca transmitters which were supposed to be operating at the glider LZ's during the Normandy landings.  
Unfortunately many of the transmitters did not get into operation.
