An undercoat of Ford Engine Blue was applied and allowed
to harden for a few days, then a wet sanding with 2500 sandpaper
followed.  I like to use a blue
undercoat for Alclad II.  On a nice day
what we see when we look at aluminum is what it reflects, which would
be mostly blue so it seems logical to use blue.  Normally I use a
very dark blue but I have a lot of the Ford Blue and need
to do something with it.  Alclad Aluminum 101 was the overcoat,
applied as dry and as thin as possible.
