        Main landing gear assembly.  Note that the upper plate that the
        gear strut attaches to is above the horizontal rib on the back plate,
        and that the vertical plate to the right 
        and attached to the linkage is to the left of the rib on the back
        plate.  There are very small locating pins on the mating sides of
        the plates, don't sand them off thinking they 
        are flash.  It seems like the art of design is at a higher level
        the the technology used to make the molds, there are lots of good ideas
        that just don't work as they
        should due to part tolerances.  Now that I know where the parts go
        I would paint the framing and the gear separately and then assemble
        them, but the instructions for 
        placement were not clear to me.  Also, they have a keeper for the
        wheels that forces you to assemble the inner wheel half to the strut,
        install and glue the keeper, 
        and then glue on the second wheel half.  Not a good plan as regards
        painting.
