Rotor head details and main transmission opened up for maintenance. There were 103 grease
fittings on the rotor head which had to be serviced daily. The procedure was to send at least
three men up to do the job, one to wipe the grease fitting before greasing, the guy running the
grease gun, and the lowest guy on the totem pole who wiped the excess grease from each fitting.
